You probably have an old version.

As for blurbs, I just can't piecemeal it out.
I thought the image was intriguing enough.

4. thanks. i have the most recent version though
i probably need to reboot or something...

but, there's no image in your post (and the image on the page is, well, NOT particularly intriguing... I was giving you a shot but, it does not evoke anything in particular. not being *mean* here, just frank.

when I go to a bookstore, sometimes I just look for authors I know and trust, other times an image will draw me enough to pick up the book, read the back cover, if that's intriguing or the topic/genre is of interest, i'll try it. or, i'll read the opening paragraph or two and see if I want to know more.

again, NOT being mean at all. good luck. i will read the first page or so at least...

6. guess i figured people knew me
from my flash work.

you probably wont be intrigued by the first couple of pages unless you care about cosmology or anthropology - it gets more interesting to most people about 25 pp. deep. that way only the most dedicated reader gets rewarded (or punished, depending on your tastes.) ;)

ok, ill take your advice and try and come up with a measly paragraph to buttonhole 150 pages into!

seriously, thanks for the honesty.

8. ok, done.
added a blurb:

"Eight to twelve billion years after the inception of the universe, a thirty year old male Secretary working for Raisin Hell! (world's sole supplier of artificially sweetened raisin substitutes) discovers his diametric opposition to that of his corporate host.

'The Secretaries' Manifesto' is born, and the spark of revolution ignites."
