It's cheap to try to demean an entire site because it has a free access discussion forum where everyone can come and say things. Of course there are going to be some individuals who don't have a very healthy worldview and say so, publicly.

I've read freeper comments that make me cringe, and DU comments that make me say, "Ouch, please don't say that in public." But I know that DU'ers consider themselves to be individuals, even though we belong to this community of DU. Freepers are generally not individuals, they merely go along with the crowd. I thought I would find that maybe a few of these guys would have low numbers (which while no proof of disrupterism...is at least a clue)

A number of these guys that are listed as giving these statements (statements that seem out there even to little old far left liberal me) do not exist on the DU system.

now this is hardly a scientific study and i didn't have time to look t all of the "Du members" listed by the right wing news but but out the few (8) i did look at, only 2 showed as actual members.

memebrs like liberallibra and nazghul35 were sorta listed but apparently have not ben active for a looong time (deactivated as a disrupter?) Thier profile came up as "no such member" even though there was a name listed.

meanwhile, others like starpass, magicrat, jackswift, and thermodynamic came up as total blanks. No record of them at all.

Add that to the numerouse ellipses (famouse in con punditry for making your opponent say the exact opposite of what he really said when you quote him) and i gotta ask...can anyone confirm how much of that list of quotes is even true? And if any of the people on there were identified as disrupters?

hell, if these things did get said, what was the response from the rest of us? and what was the context of what was said?
