I am all about law and order and decency in society, but this has to be the MOST ABSURD usurption of police powers that I have run across in some time.

These cornhusker cops clearly must have all their ducks in a row in preventing "terra" in the Heartland, and must have eliminated all crime from the streets of Lincoln to have the time to pursue this.

What's next...draping the Nebraska State House in fabric, ala Ashcroft? (For those of you who have never seen the Nebraska State House, it has a rather large central tower flanked by two wings on either side. It's affectionately referred to by locals as "The Penis On The Prairie."

WOMAN TICKETED FOR BEING NUDE ON THE INTERNET

LINCOLN, Neb. - It may be legal to appear naked in cyberspace, but police ticketed a Lincoln woman for posting nude pictures of herself on the Web that were taken in a downtown bar.

Melissa J. Harrington, 21, was ticketed Monday for violating Lincoln's public nudity ordinance by posting pictures on her Web site "showing her naked at one of our downtown bars and in several other locations around the city," Police Chief Tom Casady said.

It's unlawful to be naked in public in Lincoln," he said.

I'm gay, but it doesn't take a straight man to see this woman is clearly hot. Funny thing is, she wants to be a porn actress (oxymoron if there ever was one) and/or pose nude in a magazine.

Wonder if Mr. Police Chief realizes the publicity he created by issuing such an idiotic ticket is really just handing her a ticket to success in pursuing her dreams (okay, some girls want to grow up to be doctors, lawyers, teachers and some want to do porn...who am I to judge?). Every hetero flesh magazine is going to be knocking on this woman's knockers....er, I mean door.
