Will CNN be as critical of GWB, as FOX is of Dean?
Dean is getting ripped all over FOX news. Will CNN in turn be critical of GWB during this election year to even things out? We can't let FOX get away with this!

4. The same network that insisted WMD's existed in Iraq? CNN= Joke.
Edited on Sat Dec-27-03 03:01 PM by Dr Fate
The same network that told us Saddam was behind 9/11? The same network that REFUSED to expose Bush's WMD LIES BEFORE we sent in troops?

I wont hold my breath.

5. Why should they??
We could try and get our candidates to say more "critical" stuff and see if they will report it. That's about the best we can hope for.

6. CNN has had since the year 2000 to run stories unflattering to George W.
CNN has had since the year 2000 to run stories unflattering to George W.

If you haven't seen many such stories so far, why would you within the next year?

7. Only if Ted Turner makes good on his supposed threat to get it out of ....
...the corporate grip of Time Warner. And even then, it's doubtful. Because despite the nicknames given to the channel by the right wing (i.e. "Communist News Network", "Clinton News Network", etc) they were cheerleading the attempted destruction of the Clinton presidency right along with FAUX.

And as long as CNN employs obvious Busheep like Judy Woodruff, Paula Zahn and Aaron the mindless drone Brown, even surgical removal from the bowels of AOL won't be enough to make them a credible network again.

As for letting FAUX get away with Dean bashing, that's to be expected. FAUX is the official network of PNAC, and that's no exaggeration. Bill Kristol is on that network several times a week, as are Bennett, Woolsey, Krauthammer and other members of the cabal. They are bashing Dean for the same reason he gets bashed by DLC operatives here..... They know their free ride's over when Dean wins :)

9. Invitation to the Media discussion group
You might be new to this. Most people in the country share something of that presumption or even FAUX wouldn't dare to be as bad. Read some of the postings here, The Daily Howler, FAIR and others media watchdog groups- and weep.

11. ha!
A friend of mine says that some slob coworker of his constantly rants about CNN all day, continuously calling it "liberal shit."

man, I wish there actually WAS anything vaguely liberal on CNN. Imagine the confusion it would cause! The sudden cold sweat, the subtle feeling that you've slipped into the Twilight Zone.

14. You kidding?...CNN has cheered for Bush since before he was "elected"
When he was running against Al Gore....CNN never missed a chance to call Gore "unlikeable" or "dishonest" or "not comfortable in his skin"....everything unflattering...while they referred to Bush as "likeable" and "honest and straightforward" and "he knows who he is".....CNN has never been unbiased.

15. YEM: you need to read the truth about CNN and the GOP:
These articles are from a couple of years ago- and there is nothing I've seen to suggest they have changed, except for 30 minutes out of 24 hours to show Crossfire, which still has conservatives on it...Lots of people seem to think CNN is "Liberal", and it just aint so....

In an effort to improve his network's image with conservative leaders, new CNN chief Walter Isaacson huddled with House and Senate GOP leaders last week to seek advice on how to attract more right-leaning viewers to the sagging network.
Isaacson met with Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.), Senate Minority Leader Trent Lott (R-Miss.), House GOP Conference Chairman J.C. Watts (Okla.), Rep. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) and Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) to talk about CNN's image with conservatives and how it can be improved.
