1. maybe the feds are investigating his underage sex thing
it was settled locally, but it's a federal offense too. A very serious one with a 15 year sentence I think. I would be laying low too.

they were settled with the LOCAL police. Double jeopardy doesn't apply either since he allegedly broke two different laws, one fed one NY. That's stupid IMO, he did one thing and should be charged once, not twice.

On edit: He wasn't cleared. he pleaded guilty to something and was sentenced to probation if I remember correctly. Big difference.

14. i don't think that's accurate
i don't think Ritter pled guilty to anything. however, if given the circumstances, you KNOW the bait had to have been wired and the whole operation on video. if anything improper had occurred, they would have crucified Ritter. i don't pretend to know the whole story, but i'm sure it's a setup of some kind.

7. in all honesty
if Sean Hannity or Dick Perle was accused of the same thing, we'd be all over them too. It's fair game in today's political climate.

12. or John Fund?
what about him?

nobody does anything about that slime.....

even Eric Alterman defends him, and got caught for his trouble by somebody.....can't remember who it was, but there was an exchange between them aired here awhile back.

6. He's made a few speeches around the country
but the sex story really seemed to scare people off booking him on their shows; however, I believe Scott Ritter - think back - it was like he was almost panicky in his effort to get people to believe him and to stop us from attacking Iraq. It appears more and more as if Scott Ritter had it right.

11. Was he diddling or not?
If he was, he is toast. If not, then he can be a good source. He needs to come forward once and for all and state his position vis-a-vis underage diddling.
