Let's make george bush, Colonel Jessup
I saw "A Few Good Men" Last night for the zillionth time. Always loved the part when Colonel Jessup (bush) tells the defense attorney "you can't handle the truth" and then explodes when he has to reveal the truth himself.

Imagine the rude, arrogant, self confident, dressed up, COL Jessup (BUSH) on the witness stand (under oath of course, can't get the truth from a conservative any other way) explaining to America the necessity for the secrecy in his administration - (because we can't
handle the truth). Then, the young, cocky LT Caffey (DEM CANDIDATE) starts getting Americans to realize the truth. Jessup(Bush) explodes, goes to jail and we live happily ever after.

Lets look forward to ll months of rock and roll my fellow americans.

1. Truth Under Oath?
NOt bloody likely from this bunch. Truth will be in the evidence, and although there isn't a whole lot out there right now, unless they are all dealing in cash, which should still be traceable, there's tons of evidence just waiting to be strung together into a nice tight noose.

2. I was thinking Rummy myself
I saw it again last night too, for the millionth time like you.

My favorite part as always is Caffey mimicking Jessup's "I eat breakfast..." line, which is also Cruise doing a Nicholson impression. :-)

3. Just like the other Aaron Sorkin film
"The American President"-both I've seen a million times. Both also have a climactic scene that is pure fantasy. 2004 is going to be so ugly I'm not sure I can deal with it.
