BBV: Book About to Rock & Roll! Go Dave! New Question?
Yahoo! David's got the book and it could come off the presses this week. Go Dave!

This, however, brings up a question. People pledged to send the book to their Senators and Representatives a while back. At the time, it was logical to send the book to D.C. and those who were having David send it were to send him their congress people's D.C. address. I wrote up a generic letter with the help of some others, that David could slip in the book to explain why they were getting it and who sent it to them.

However, now Congress is in recess. The question is, how long are they in recess and would it be best to send the book to their state offices at this time? Feedback on that welcome and if you want to change what's being done, you'll have to keep David busy for a while.;-)

So, anyone got the date congress will be back in session?

Here is the Congressional list that people on DU have pledged to send books to:

House of Representatives-

Tom Allen, Maine
Virginia Brown-Waite, Virginia
Randy "Duke" Cunningham, California
Jesse L. Jackson, Illinois
Dennis Kucinich, Ohio
Tom Lantos, California
Brad Miller, North Carolina
Steve Pearce, New Mexico
Jan Schakowsky, Illinois
Pat Tiberi, Ohio

Senate-

Jeff Bingaman, New Mexico
Barbara Boxer, California
Robert Byrd, West Virginia
Hillary Clinton, New York
Mike DeWine, Ohio
Elizabeth Dole, North Carolina
Richard Durbin, Illinois
John Edwards, North Carolina
Russ Feingold, Wisconsin
Dianne Feinstein, California
Bob Graham, Florida
Chuck Hagel, Nebraska (I love this one!)
Ernest Hollings, South Carolina
Edward Kennedy, Massachusetts
Herb Kohl, Wisconsin
Carl Levin, Michigan
Patty Murray, Washington
Charles Schumer, New York
Olympia Snowe, Maine

If I left anybody off the list, I apologize.

If anybody else wants to pledge a book, you can sign on and then send an email to David if you want him to ship it direct, and where to ship, D.C. or state offices, with the address. :+

Merry Christmas to us, Merry Christmas to us, Merry Christmas to uuuussss, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO US!

2. I don't know
I think the decision now is whether to send to D.C. or state offices.

4. recess? darn, if only it had been ready sooner :(
If I had a nickel for every time time I heard how the imaginary book is almost finished/ready/available I could retire.

Ahhh what the heck, it's Christmas. I guess I can suspend my disbelief for a day or two. ;)

If that book is not shipping by Tuesday I'll print my OWN COPIES and start shipping them myself.

I do plan to deliver yours personally, as per your invitation. I'm preparing something just for you.

8. How wide will it be distributed?
I want one.

The office of my state senator called Wed morning. They asked a some questions about the voting machines. I gave them your e-mail address and your URL.

They are off until after new years, so don't expect to hear from them for a few days.

They are going to back me up on a records request.

I hope your books sells well, and true reform happens.

Stay away from beef and angry Diebold execs.

Happy Holidays

17. somehow I remain skeptical
Are we really supposed to believe that the release of your 'book' is imminent? We've been hearing this every few weeks since at least July and I'm not sure I can muster up any more real excitement after all these repeated false alarms. You're like the old lady who cried wolf... I simply don't believe you any more. Do you even believe yourself at this point? Maybe you've just eaten one too many cheeseburgers up there in Renton. :tinfoilhat:

And seriously... I know that you like to let all the other 'true believers' think that you somehow know my name, address, social security number, political affiliation, shoe size and underwear preference -- despite the fact that you've never (even with my amused blessing) posted a single thing, anywhere, supporting your claim. It's both hilarious and sad (and a little touching, I suppose) that you'd actually care enough about me to include me as a character in your black-helicopter election conspiracy fantasy. I'm tempted to post all my info here right now just to make your claims look silly as per usual. But I actually think it's more fun somehow to let you drive triumphantly to the house of some random Diebold employee to accost him or her and his/her family over the holidays instead. Hopefully all they'll do is call the police when a stalker shows up at their home, and not take the law into their own hands. ;)

Be sure to let us know the next time the book really is shipping, you know how we all live for this stuff. :boring:

And those imaginary 14 chapters with all those imaginary words posted on that fictional site http://www.blackboxvoting.com/ are Never going to be available for viewing! What a farce this all is!!! :eyes:

You post a lot of nonsense TFHP. This has got to be the best example I've seen so far. Do you have a pager that goes off when a BBV thread is posted here?
