Oh Boy: How right was Jim McDermott?
The guy called it. He was called a conspiracy nut, and now it's starting to look as if the Bushees were just as opportunistic as he was saying...

Shall we praise him? I think so.

Jim, you are the MAN. Right ON.

That is true leadership, which is, more than anything, extremely rare today. :hippie:

3. Who is the unnamed source?
An unnamed Western intelligence source in the Middle East told the Express: "Saddam was not captured as a result of any American or British intelligence."

4. It's hard to tell
All I know is Yahoo is trolling an article saying that the Kurds had captured Saddam long before we did. And it sounds very believable.

10. Why?
Why did the Kurds not kill him, take his gun and money? The Kurds were gassed by him and I doubt they forgave him.

24. humilation
was what they wanted to see on Saddam's face and they saw it. That was much more worthy to them than killing him.

17. well of course
I can't believe anyone actually bought that ridiculous story they created about Saddam's so-called "capture". At this point I am not sure that Bush Inc is even CAPABLE of telling the truth.

20. Yeah.
If Clinton would have been our president still, we'd have Saddam, no matter what, right?

6. I've never been a big McDermott fan.
Frankly, I think he's just another King County Democrat - one with an especially liberal bent who likes attention.

But McDermottt is racking up points right and left with his Iraq comments. He does indeed deserve praise.

Now if he just showed as much interest in Seattle's embattled public schools as he does for Iraq...
