Portland Oregonian Rallies Behind Bush
Some jackass who wrotes for the Potland Oregonian wrote an article that blasts Seattle Congressman "Baghdad Jim" McDermott for claiming Saddam Hussein's capture was politically motivated, then criticizes Howard Dean for suggesting George Bush didn't do everything he could to prevent 9/11. Apparently, this clown thinks it's OK to ignore warnings, then sit on one's butt reading a story about a pet goat while your country's under attack, retreating to Nebraska when the going gets really rough.

1. Let me guess
Was it David Reinhard?

One of the joys of moving away from Portland was not having to see his ugly column in my morning paper.

2. I can't believe the Times picked that trash up.
I wrote Reinhard yesterday, giving him the information regarding the false nature of the memo he uses in the piece to justify a connection between Iraq and 9/11. He replied that he wouldn't correct the matter. He's scum from the word go.

What's more, the Oregonian had nothing about Kean's initial statement regarding 9/11, with his statement about Condi Rice, but today it prints an article saying that Kean didn't mean to give blame to anyone. Further, there has been nothing about the false nature of the memo used by Reinhard printed in the paper at all.

3. I just E-mailed the Times with the same letter and info. I sent the...
Oregonian yesterday. In case anyone needs the link to the story about the forged letter, here it is:

4. Don't include me in that group.
I live in Portland, and I am counting the days, no the seconds until we get Bushya out of office. Portland, as well as Oregon, is historically a democratic state. As well as Washington and California (until just now). That's why they call us the "left coast" (heh heh, Lydia).

I flatly refuse to read a single word the fathead David Reinhard has written. Notice how he even looks like Rush. They all have that same beefy, overfed look about them. They also have this bloated overconfident self-aggrandizing look in their eyes.

They're all the same.
