please post what the lead is tonight on news shows you watch
It would be useful for us to see what story leads the news this night, on all the programs DU-ers are likely to see (both local and network). I'd like to do this thread every day and compile results at the end of each month.

Please add any input you have.

Hardball is opening with Michael Jackson.

1. NBC
NBC is leading with the two court decisions striking down the B*s* regime's holding prisoners without access to lawyers or the US courts.

Good for the courts!

2. CBS led with the same story
Not even a whisper about the Kean 9/11 Commission story, though.

Very weird. This story is dropping off the radar.

Too hot to handle? Could be.

Our only hope, that some good reporters somewhere are working hard to nail down more facts before the publish. Am I grasping at straws? Who know. But come on TRUTH -- show yourself...

3. Keith Olbermann
He's got Gary Hart on, leading with 9-11.

4. Olberman leads with Kean statement
has quote from Ramsey Clark today called Bush on his failure to deal with terrorism in Afghanistan before 9-11, had no meetings, said instead of dealing with Al Q/bin Laden, we invaded Iraq.

Now Gary Hart talking about the commission, not trying to find blame.

keeps showing Condi a lot...her quote was in the intro part.

saw the end of Hardball...Matthews nailed Peggy Noonan but good, and she deserved it, on her attempt to lie about the invasion of Iraq. That was sooooooo satisfying...
