It was said in another thread that freeperville's lord and master does not let anti Bush posts to remain on that board.

Where else but here can a wing nut find out what is really going on? Not on Faux News, not by Newsmax, not by talk radio, not by reading freeper posts.

I think they are really believing that Bush is venerable and want to know the truth which they can't get with their usually information sources so they come here and lurk and post their BS.

All the more reason to be a little accomodating. Do we really think that someone who would be seeking the truth has such an intractible position that they couldn't under any circumstances be swayed by the good and humane ideas of democrats?

Granted, disruption works against the purposes of DU, but when a poster with only a few posts writes something in defense of Bush or seriously questioning a progressive viewpoint, I think it's a mistake to turn on him like rabid dogs. Truth is on our side. We should be more confident in our powers of persuasion.
