I was listening to the news on the radio the other day, all about how if the US takes any troops out of Iraq, that we'd have to at least replace them if not more. And just how badly the military is spread thin over Iraq

Then I wistfully remembered the awe-inspiring bravado of a certain Defense Secretary , in light of the rising potential North Korean threat, that yes, we can in fact
"...fight two wars at once"

Thank your deity of choice that it never came to that. If we are having this much trouble in 'lil ol' Iraq, which was assumed to be a quick mop-up, if North Korea had been thrown into the mix, well, you think we're bad off now. Just another little "side-issue" and quote to remember that I thought I'd share.

They need a major overhaul up on the Hill.
