John Hinckley Jr. granted unsupervised visits/furloughs.
But Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme stays locked up for life.
Hinckley actually shot a sitting president, Fromme points a gun at Gerold Ford.
Hinckley is from a strong repub family with ties to Bu$h.
Fromme, I would imagine, has/had leftward leanings.
Why should Hinckley get certain freedoms and Fromme not even considered?

2. Grrrr. Why didn't they fry that screw loose 20 years ago?
Or stick 'im in Spandau. I'm not a big fan of the death penalty, but trying to murder our president and undo a democratic election should be one of those crimes for which you forfeit your life or, at the very least, spend your remaining miserable days outside of contract with the world. Hinkley, Agca, Rhenquist, Scalia, and Thomas all need to fill up a much underused, keyless facility. Maybe throw OJ in there for some discipline.

3. This decision is worng, on so many levels!
Trying to undo with a bullet what was done with a ballot is sooooo wrong. (I know that wasn't his 'reason', but the point remains). He should NEVER be given unsupervised release...
