It would be so cool if Clinton answered Smirk's charge.
Last night I turned to ABC just in time to hear Smirk claim that he inherited the recession. That is untrue, and I wish Clinton would call him on it. That would be cool.

1. He won't, and I'll tell you why--because if he did, NONE of the Dems
would back him up, while the Repukes would rush to the Un-Elected Fraud's defense. You'd think the Dems would, since Bush is obviosuly a liar, but it's disgusting how spineless they are.

2. More than that
I wish Clinton would clarify his record in the war on Terror. We have Conservatives who genuinely believe that Clinton ignored terrorism--when in fact he was accused by experts of being overly focused on Terrorism.

7. That's the way I remember it
I wish Clinton would set the record straight, regarding what actually occurred during his Presidency. Better yet, I wish the Democratic Presidential Candidates and Leaders would set the record straight. Better still--- why doesn't the American Public feel the need to educate themselves in that regard, instead of taking everything the Bush*ies and the Republican Leaders and the "Liberal" Media say, at face value?

4. Irony!
Bush inherits everything but in this case HE WORKED REAL HARD for the recession he got. Imagine, my fellow americans, what the next president will "inherit."

5. exactly
ok, let's say W did inherit a recession - which he didn't but let's say he did - how has he helped tame it? Didn't the Big Dog inherit Poppy Bush's recession, absolutely, and the Big Dog took lemons and made lemonade with nary a whimper.

Come to think of it didn't Poppy Bush rely on a successful war to bolster his re-election bid?

6. yeah, the recession started a few months after Bush was in office
so I guess he inherited a big tax cut to the wealthy.

I wish Clinton would do a long interview where he just refutes the recession and War On Terror myths. In the Fall of '04 would be nice.

9. That would be great
A nice hour long interview where he explains how he inherited a recession and what he did to fix it (not give the wealthy a multi-trillion dollar tax cut) and all the things he did to combat terrorism and how the Republicans tried to stall his anti-terrorism plans by rejecting his plea for more anti-terrorism funds. And I'd love for him to show Richard? Clarke's plan on how to handle Al Queda which was developed under his administration and how Bush ignored it for months and then after 9/11 put "HIS" plan into action which was actually Clinton's one-year old plan.

I don't understand why Clinton doesn't stand up for himself.
