Help: Who voted for/against Overtime Bill
Last week (it was reported as happening on the 25th), congress narrowly rejected overtime protections, 213-210.

I cannot find the roll call vote for this. (I want to see how my congressman voted). I don't know if this was defeated as an amendment to another bill, or if it was a rejection of the stand-alone bill HR2665. I cannot find the roll call vote for either.

Does anybody have a link to how congress voted on this one?

2. it's not easy to find
but that terrible, terrible person, the enemy of the people and all that is good and wholesome in a democracy, Ralph Nader is trying to change that to make government more accountable:

"...Both the Senate and the House of Representatives have put their rollcall votes on the Internet -- but not in a searchable format. So it can take hours of painstaking, frustrating, tedious labor for constituents to compile their Members' voting records on any given subject. Why should constituents expend so much time and energy doing something that a computerized database could do in microseconds? This makes no sense at all.

Congress ought to make it easy for citizens to carry out their civic
duties. An online database of congressional votes would provide a major advance in the ability of citizens to track the actions of their Members of Congress. If you're proud of what you and your colleagues do in Washington, then why not make it as easy as possible for citizens to read and study these voting records on the Internet?

Will you make this simple congressional reform a top priority for the
107th Congress?"

7. Thanks Mr. Stubbs
I searched that site, but to no avail. Thanks for finding it for us. I really appreciate it.

I'm happy to see that my rep voted on the right (but losing side).

Here are the dems who voted against the amendment:

Stenholm
Dooley (CA)

Five republicans did not vote and seven democrats did not vote. The dems who did not vote are:

Cramer
Gephardt
Harman
Millender-McDonald
Owens
Payne
Sanchez, Loretta

Assuming all the dems who didn't vote and all the republicans who didn't vote had voted, the measure would still have failed by one vote because of two dems.

So, anybody in Stenholm or Dooley's district?
