Killing Saddam & sons: diversionary tactics to distract from 9-11 report?
- The TOP story on CNN and MSNBC is...

THE HUNT FOR SADDAM

- Now the Bushies are 'hunting down' the remaining members of Saddam's family...hoping they will divulge his location.

- Meanwhile...heard much about the Bush* WH coverup of the 9-11 report? What about the Saudi connection to the Bush Family and 9-11? There are snippets here and there...but they're mostly reported as complaints by partisan Dems running for president.

- GOPers accused Clinton of 'wagging the dog' to distract from Monica's lip prints. But why is there no mention of the series of wags by the current WH occupant?

3. Do a search on Bush Family and Saudi Arabia....
...and you'll get more hits that you can use.

- Meanwhile...the 'mainstream' media (hosts on CNN and MSNBC) are suggesting that Saddam's death would be a major coup (pun intended) for the Bushies. They seem to be saying this will vindicate Bush* in some way.

4. Yeah, they can only dream about vindication.
The only vindication would be the discovery of potent nuclear missles aimed at America. I don't think that's going to happen.

5. Shows they are still rooting for bush. Major coup
my red, white, & blue :kick:

It's a whole other can of worms they have opened!

I think the brothers should have been brought before a

tribunal but that would have been too much for the bushwa.

Waay too much history with the bushfeld. We have a picture of their daddy shaking hands with rummy and bush's pappy was supplying weapons to them, were they not?

No nasty trials for them...just the messy hit from a betrayal that other Iraqis are not too happy with. So another can of worms have been opened so the bushwa could buy some distraction time.

6. Is the US committing WAR CRIMES in their hunt for Saddam?
- Or is it okay for the US to kill anyone that gets in their way?

Deaths as Saddam net 'tightens'

Monday, July 28, 2003 Posted: 4:09 AM EDT (0809 GMT)

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- Three Iraqi civilians died when U.S. forces launched attacks in Baghdad and Tikrit aimed at finding former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein.

A U.S. official told CNN the military believes it has Saddam "on the run," but would not predict when he would be captured, other than to say it is just a matter of time.

He told CNN that the raids on three farms near Tikrit Sunday were based on "very reliable" intelligence which indicated Saddam's security chief -- or possibly the deposed dictator himself -- had been there recently.

The official told CNN the military believes the deposed Iraqi president is in the Tikrit area and is changing his location every two to four hours.

The civilian deaths in the upscale Mansour district of Baghdad Sunday came when U.S. troops fired on vehicles apparently breaching a military cordon.

Witnesses described U.S. commandos dressed in black cordoning off the area around a house and then opening fire on several vehicles. - http://www.cnn.com/2003/WORLD/meast/07/28/sprj.irq.main.intl/index.html

8. Just my two cents, but clearly, Saddam is a military target.
He is the military leader of the enemy we are fighting. I don't see how that is a war crime. And if it is, why isn't the whole world up in arms over it?

11. It's a 'war crime' to kill civilians in pursuit of a military target...
- The US (Bush*WH) is intentionally targeting civilian buildings and killing civilians driving down the 'wrong' street at the wrong time. This is against international law and the Geneva convention.

- The killing of Saddam isn't a war crime...it's unnecessary and a distraction from the 9-11 report.

7. The problem remains: not too many Americans have seen that picture...
...of Rummy shaking hands with the Evildoer.

- Perception management...a CIA/NSC specialty.

12. It's clear that Rove is not a 'god'....what's your point?
- The news media is downplaying the IMPORTANCE of the 9-11 report...and the obvious implications of the WH hiding (classifying) connections to the Bush and Saudi royal families.

- Enron. 9-11. Halliburton. National Energy Policy Task Force. Reagan/Bush presidential papers. They're all connected and all being covered up to protect the Bush* WH.
