Spin, spin, spin
Just trapsed past the TV and caught the CNN reporter (Nick ???) from Iraq spining the latest. Went something like this:

Reporter: ...Saddam came out of the hole with his hands up and said, "I am Saddam Hussein, President of Iraq. I want to negotiate." To which the soldiers replied, "President Bush sends his greetings."

This information, of course, comes from the military, providing information to the reporters. Does anybody think this information/embellishment is NOT designed to give Dubya a more direct role in the capture of Hussein?

spin, spin, spin.

Where's the dramamine?

2. More silliness
Our media is so sensationalized, it's not worth paying attention most of the time.

4. If this was on the footage of Saddam surrendering peacefully,
then it would be broadcast constantly on Faux.

Now, what's more likely is that the footage of Saddam surrendering peacefully has the quote by the disappointed soldier where he laments the lack of a shootout.

Maybe this peon should have been pinned under the hummer with Jessica.

5. Don't be surprised if this shows up, not on the real video, but
on the re-enactment video they film for the 2004 Election campaign.

9. Question: Is "Spider Hole" becoming one of those "catch" phrases?
I haven't watched all that much of Whore TV but I know how the love and have got to have their little phrases.

I heard WMD so many times I thought I puke but it was quickly taken over by "embedded". What now spider hole?? Geeezzzz.....

10. Absolutely, on a smaller scale the Busheviks manage info like the Soviets
All Things are made to serve the Emperor, from the smug-self-satisfied pundits to the governemental organizations which once served the citizenry that now are purged into Bushevik Sub-Units of Deceit.

What is most digusting about the Imperial Punditocracy is that they need very little encouragement to do what they do. Sea changes in mores have even Ted Koppel flashing his Whoreness without shame.

And yes, the Busheviks have gotten away so often with Pravda, even when caught red-handed, that it is not unreasonable to aasume their Perception Management Team is going to alter style or become less brazen.
