I admit it, I'm a disruptor on Free Republic. I love going over there, posting an article with some facts they'll find uncomfortable, and a comment or two that I believe (because I have a libertarian streak) but at least a few of the whackos will agree with.

Jefferson didn't write the Dec of Ind. alone, although he certainly took credit for it as he aged. And his party affiliation then was Republican, although it was the progenitor of the Dem party.

And, how can you as a black man say that you idolize in ANY context a former slave owner? Beyond my comprehension.
