Just watched something sickening – Coulter on Cspan

She was laughing and making jokes about Dalton Trumbo's "Johnny Got His Gun," about a faceless, voiceless amputee returned from the war. She said the reason it took so long to make the movie was maybe that the subject matter was just too disagreeable (laughs and titters from her r/w audience). Maybe she should take her act to that ward at Walter Reed Hospital right about now, where our soldiers are being treated for their war wounds.

QUite Frankly the movie didnt get made because Trumbo didnt come off the blacklist till Kurt Douglas decided to list him as the writer of Spartacus. It sickens me to that Annthrax Coulter would talk about the inner workings of Hollywood where even a star can work 20 years to get a Movie Mad (i.e. Ghandi, Gangs of New York). What the hell is she talking about. A large majority of the screenwriting awards were fronted during the Blacklist years, and the Academy itself didnt even acknowledge the fronting till after Trumbo was diagnosed terminal. Annthrax should just shut her yap. You notice she doesnt give speeches to other than captive audiences because she knows they will be unrully.

This is a bad night to tell me this, because I sat with my Dad tonight and watched a WWII program about the company he served with then. He is one of those guys who will never let you know what they lived through then in the War Against Facism, but I saw him wiping tears from his eye asa he was remembering stuff.

Is she fucking with vets now? Is she so assured of Chickenhawk support that she can ridicule real combat vets?

This makes me sad. I know so many WWII combat vets, in their 70s now, and they are such cool guys. I honor them. As it happens, they saw the rise of fascism when they were kids, and recognize its rise today, and are repulsed that it is happening in the country they laid down their lives to defend. Oh God -- these great men are dying day by day....

10. WW II Vets

The sad fact is that these rethuglicans of the far right know that the WW II vets are dying quickly and the number of people who can be a witness to the atrocities of the facists is shrinking. Many others who are left have (or are assumed to have) a diminished mental capacity. Thats why assholes like pat buchannan can deny that there was a holocaust.

The only members of my family who are WW II era survivors (GI's nd Rosie the Riveters) are all in their late 70's and 80's. The far right knows that they have a reduced field of disputers when they make fun of a novel like "Johnny Got His Gun" (which, I believe, is about a WW I soldier). Besides, Dalton Trombeau (spelling?) is easy to defame, he's dead. It reminds me of michael medved & bill o'reilly attacking Stanley Kubrick for "Eyes Wide Shut" several months after the man died.

ann coulter is a coward, just like most rethuglican rightists. She has become the Jerry Springer of the far right. She will reach a point where she has goneto a low level of venom where she will simply be unable to go any further. At that point, she is OVER!

of this fake, big headed "woman" is that she is getting just enough of her 15 min. of fame, that eventually she will be given enough rope and time to hang herself. It is already happening. She's side-show-Bob with a bad hair-dye job.

Karma does exist, even for you, Ann. In my forty years of living, I have never escaped this rule...this Murphy's Law that exists for every one of us. Every time she opens her hateful mouth, she makes the people she claims to represent be reduced to idiot status along with her. No one is going to want to be associated with her diatribe as she gets more and more radical with her spewing sewage.
