Bush to federal felons: return the stolen loot and all's forgiven
http://www.washingtonpost.com/ac2/wp-dyn?pagename=article&node=&contentId=A60978-2003Dec12¬Found=true

"I appreciate the Pentagon looking out after the taxpayers' money," Bush said after promoting Alphonso R. Jackson to be his new Housing and Urban Development secretary. "And if there's an overcharge, like we think there is, we expect that money to be repaid."
<snip>
The audit found Halliburton, of which Cheney was chief executive before becoming Bush's running mate, may have overcharged the Army by $1.09 per gallon on nearly 57 million gallons of gasoline delivered to citizens in Iraq by buying from Kuwait instead of Turkey. The charges were part of a no-bid contract Halliburton received for rebuilding the Iraqi oil industry.
<snip>

And...oh yeah...this only applies to rich, white political contributors. The rest of you federal felons-- those disagreeable 'minoritiy-types' who are still serving time for $1000+ thefts of federal property-- don't drop the soap.

1. It's like the world revolves around what bushie wants
He'll give them a pardon even if they have charges brought against them.

And what was all that talk about the government needing to be run with the efficiency of a business? Sorry I don't see it.

2. Kennyboy & Friends Got an Even Better Deal
Not only are they not going to jail,

Not only to they get to keep the 9 BILLION they stole from California,

But THEY GET TO HOLD CALIFORNIA TO THEIR ILLEGAL CONTRACT
SO WE WILL BE PAYING THEM EXTORTIONATE PRICES FOR ENERGY FOR YEARS!

And now we have the Gropinator to hold us down so
the robber barons can rape us some more.

3. This is the tip..............
of the iceberg, they'll recover paltry sum fro Halliburton and all will be forgotten. The BILLIONS that Halliburton is stealing in the background won't even be investgated, it's a form of plea bargain for Halliburton. Plead guilty to stealing a few million, all the while siphoning billions in the background. I can hear it now, "this issue has been fully vetted". Move on, nothing to see here.t

4. No shit...
Here's a fallacy:

"I appreciate the Pentagon looking out after the taxpayers' money," Bush said after promoting Alphonso R. Jackson to be his new Housing and Urban Development secretary.

If he appreciated that, why didn't the stupid fuck look out after our money when he went into Iraq with false intelligence????
