Wesley Clark Appears on 'The Daily Show'
Presidential Candidate Wesley Clark Appears on 'The Daily Show' With Jon Stewart

The Associated Press

NEW YORK Dec. 12 — Presidential candidate Wesley Clark, a retired Army general, joked with comedian Jon Stewart about the fit of a flight suit and touched on his views on education in an appearance on "The Daily Show" Thursday night.

After introducing Clark and mentioning that he was a "four-star general," the host of the Comedy Central show said, "Although I do have to ask that's out of how many stars?"

"It's actually eight," Clark said, "four on each shoulder," adding that if an additional four on a hat were included in the count, "it could be as many as 12."

Clark likened beginning a presidential campaign to taking off from an aircraft carrier and mentioned that he had worn a flight suit.

performing an honorable job providing these links, thanks dude.

I thought Clark looked pretty relaxed, hope the audience thought so too. Guess I'm a little biased.

16. I'm voting for Wonk!
A person who cares about those of us in the boondocks with bad cable.

After reading about the "top button" I feared the worst. Clark was great and actually enjoying himself. He's quick and kept up a rolling banter.

"State of Apathy" For the neysayers, what would you have answered? Texas? Oh sure_pissing off an entire state is not the answer. Apathy is the problem.

"Any states you'd get rid of?"

"I'd get rid of the state of apathy," Clark said.

GROAN! Why am I even supporting this cornball? This Cheetos-addicted cornball. How can someone this intelligent be that big of a geek?
Best/scariest Clark quote of them all: "They're pretty tight."

So's the election, general.

Thats your problem with Clark, he's a "geek"? I guess Americans should elect cool people like Georgie "Thug Style" Dubya?

8. He is a cornball in part
He's a boy from Arkansas who grew up to be a man of the world. Both sides of him come out and he's comfortable letting them. I find it endearing, actually, like how his tie is always hanging out of his suit jacket.

B-)

11. Politically - comedy shows are dangerous.
Better to be goofy than edgy.

13. well, let's see
He is in favor of AA, gay rights, gays in the military, strong environmental regulation, strong labor unions, reproductive rights, progressive taxation, public schools, and gun control, and against school vouchers and a bloated military budget.

What would make him left enough for you?
