cover ups happen with the help of both parties. the integrity of the office of the presidency must be maintained. treason can't even be hinted at. Just impropriety - maybe Bush had received a warning from someone he didn't reveal. An "honour thing" he'll say. In an emergency session, the Vice President's resignation is accepted and Secretary of State Colin Powell takes over the "head of state" designation until the election.

The Reps will nominate the moderate John McCain.

The Dems will then nominate John Kerry. Another moderate.

Hopefully, whoever wins, sanity will be somewhat restored. Whoever wins will reach out to the UN and I'll bet you a dime to a donut that the gesture will be embraced.

Back to the skilled art of diplomacy. Not the skilled savagery of War. No more endless "War Of Global Terror", but a multi-lateral approach to fighting the right terrorists in the right spots while considering the root causes of terrorism and how it can be stopped before it happens.

is the dlc just going to bypass the primaries and hand it to him.

kerry's problem is that he is has run a shitty, even incompetent, campaign. he has great resume and unpleasant personality and shows precious little organizational talent.
