2. Ok
Some like Indian (native north american) lookin dude with a long white ponytail kicks it off. He is kneeling on a beautiful red area rug (think oriental/persian in quality, not design).

He lights a ball of dried sage (i think) - which looks like a big BUD - and fans the smoldering herb, which he places in a bowl, with two white eagle feathers.

The PM walks forward on the stage. The indian chief dude slowly walks around him, fanning the smoke from the sage into the PM with the feathers, CLEANSING HIS AURA.

It went on from there, but i had some stuff to do.

Totally surreal.

U.S., Canada Tense Over Iraq Contracts
By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

Filed at 5:55 p.m. ET

(snip)

But White House spokesman Scott McClellan said, ``If countries want to join in the efforts going on in Iraq -- the coalition efforts, and the efforts by the Iraqi people -- we look forward to discussing ways that they can do that, and circumstances can change.''

Martin has said he plans to increase Canada's military spending, long a U.S. goal. But he has not discussed specifics of his hopes for ties with the United States. The identity of his foreign minister has not been disclosed. He won't outline his plan for government for another month.
