Just to keep ourselves prepared... will Dean support whoever is
Edited on Fri Dec-12-03 02:58 PM by loudnclear
the Dem nominee? I'm not taking anything for granted until the convention is over.

What all the Dem candidates should be saying in their own way is that they have substantive disagreements with each others approaches to problems but they all would be able to support whoever the nominee is because they are all united in believing that the Bush administration is dangerous for America!

4. Yes but there's a problem
Dean's campaign is built on a different model than the rest. Dean's support will mean less if his model can't be transcribed into the framework of the other candidate.

5. I can't speak for Dean
but there is nothing to indicate that he would not follow the example set down in the past by other candidates who did not get the nomination. He will tell his supporters to vote for the nominee.

Will his massive, nigh-perfect campaign transfer over to the person who got the nominee? No.

Will his supporters who do good works in his name suddenly do good works in the nominee's name? No.

Will his supporters stop calling themselves Deaniacs or whatever the quirky word of the month is? No.

Will his supporters vote for the nominee? Yes.

Will his supporters beg him to run again in 2008? Yes.

Will his supporters continue to meet, do good works, and in general be who they are? Yes.

6. He already said he will. Several times.
A couple of those times were in recent debates.

7. All our candidates will support the nominee
Don't let the political shenanigans fool you into thinking otherwise.
