I haven't seen anyone discuss Coulter on Wolf Blitzer this morning.

She accused every democratic candidate except Lieberman of being unpatriotic. When Blitzer asked for clarification, she wouldn't repeat it, but merely said they were against the war and against fighting terrorism. Accused Dems of rewarding enemies and punishing friends. Also kept referring to Haliburton contract as if they had bid on it. Aaaarrrggghh!

...was Ann Coulter deadpan saying "I don't get it" and Wolf having to explain Bush's "joke" about the lawyer. Then she starts laughing like a freaking lunatic.

4. The trouble isn't

Ann Coulter -- she's so out-of-touch and discredited that it defies analysis. The problem is WHY would Wolf, Chris Matthews, et al continue to give her a platform. Ratings, baby!

10. THAT is a damn good question.

Why** is she invited on these shows? They don't regularly invite the head of the Ku Klux Klan because the Klan contributes nothing to serious debate. In what way does this differ from Coulter? Should "democrats are born stupid and evil" be taken more seriously than "white people are naturally superior"?



Besides that, she cannot write. When the article over which her opposition to editing got her fired was finally published elsewhere, I read it and realized what she apparently did not. They did not want to edit it because it was insensitive (never stopped them publishing her previous work). They wanted to edit it because it didn't make any sense. It had no cohesion with poorly structured sentences. While lack of cohesion was fairly common in her writings, she usually managed to form sentences in all of her earlier work.

I made the point of reading her next few articles as well and noticed the structure problem continued. That is when I realized just how much editing there must have been by her original publisher. I eventually stopped reading since, as stated above, she wouldn't write anything of substance.


**This is a rhetorical question. I think we all know perfectly well that it is not what Coulter may say that they welcome, but what she may do on her knees or back.
