Have we gone too deep into the "real politik?"
I was just watching Ann Coulter and some other guy on Wolf Blitzer Reports, and they were talking about Dean and Gore and the Clintons and all of that drama and speculation that's going on. The "other guy" (whose name I just didn't catch) brought up the point that all of this stuff, which is what we talk about here in GD almost exclusively, is all the "inside baseball." After hearing that, it occurred to me that we're not talking enough about the issues, here. I think that Rove is getting us caught up in more of a popularity contest than a real election.

This is NOT a popularity contest, folks. WE HAVE THE EDGE IN THE ISSUES. Bush has practically destroyed our country! Let's NOT get sucked in to the drama and the popularity contest. Every time Rove tries to drag this into the "big bad Republican" vs. "weak little Democrat" arena, WE have counter with bringing it RIGHT back to the issues. Keep America focused on what's *actually happening* to the country.

The closer to reality we can keep this race, the greater chance we have of winning this. Don't let Rove suck us into Fantasyland, and use our own imaginations against us.

ABB 2004!!!!!!!!

3. HAHAHAHAH!
LOVE it, BGL!

I wish I had a high five smiley!

You're exactly right, friend. Kucinich did JUST THIS during the debate and the people ate it up.

We all need to do it, until it becomes second nature - muscle memory.

Great topic!!!!
