28. Why waste their time?

Why should the top candidates get diluted by those that are drifting to the bottom of the pool? This isn't a slam against anyone or any candidate, but why I'd rather see the top 4 get the media attention to get their message out. That's the way the game is played. The strongest survive. Polls show that Kucinich, Braun and Sharpton are all in the 3% range. That doesn't have anything to do with media coverage. It has to do with how our party votes, and how they answer when a pollsters calls them. Personally I liked Graham, but I think he ultimately made the right decision.

Personally, I think it's time for Ms. Braun, Mr. Kucinich, Mr. Lieberman and Sharpton to start closing up camp. We've had nearly a year of debates and those of us who want to know where they stand have heard them in adfinitum...or ad nauseum.

There's very little newsworthy from these campaigns and it's a waste of time and money for ABC or any major news organization to base not only a reporter but camera crew and the 500 interns and hangers-on. And generally there isn't a lick of news that comes out of this.

Just remember in 2000 there were a similar number of Repugnicans running and there was far less coverage the run-up to their primaries.

To those lower-tier candidates...thank-you for coming forward and I appreciate both your party loyalty and the issues and viewpoints you bring to the table...hopefully the best aspects of those campaigns can be incorporated into the party plank and it's time to move on and focus on taking back our country.
