California Recall: Worried about how the votes will be counted
The recall vote will most likely be counted by computers, right? Prob Diebold computers.

I hope someone in California gets ahead of this or Mickey Mouse may become the next Governor.<grin>

This vote will ne the first test of black box voting before the 04 elections. If you live in California, might I suggest you get down with your area's Election Supervisor soon?

1. For REAL!
This has occurred to me, too. Have a Governor (or any other elected official) you don't like? Recall election.

How to make sure you win the recall election? Diebold Voting Machines!

2. how does it work...you count Y/N first
if NO (recall) wins you do not count governors, if YES you count governors. It is not clear howit works. Can they kill a ballot like they did in florida for not voting correctly?

3. would be glad to but
I have tried to understand Bev's posts, but sorry,it is way over my head. I am in a puke county. when I moved here I registered at DMV and it was never done and I was denied the right to vote thanks to motor voter. They told me it was not my affiliation that cost me,(should I have expected anything else) it was motor voter. I now vote absentee. I am still angry. we have had computer voting in this county since i came in 02. I didn't know who to sue and the local Dems were unresponsive.

5. Excuse me...
but who's in charge of certifying the votes in California? Unlike what happened in Florida.
