7. Bullshiat.
AOL polls almost always lean right and only go left when the other option is horribly worded. Fair and balanced, rumguy, nice.

8. The fact is...
...most polls based on voting over the Internet do lean right. Higher-income people are more likely to have computers and use the Internet a lot than lower-income people; the same is true of males versus females. The end result is a demographic skewed toward white suburban males -- the Republican dream bloc. Add to this the fact that many of those who consider themselves "techies" (and, thus, are almost constantly on-line) have a strong libertarian bent, and it's no surprise that you will usually get a right-wing response to any poll that isn't based on a self-selecting forum (i.e. DU).
