OK, then, I'll ask--

:wtf: is that asshole doing wandering around creating his own foreign policy?

Shrub & Powell may not be doing all that well, but no one else has done all that well either, and DeLay is (illegally I might add, ccording to the Constitution and the Logan Act) undermining their efforts at negotiating peace settlements.

1. DeLay is the best player...
...on our team right now. I wish the best for the middle east, but I must admit I'm enjoying this. Maybe the Repukes aren't as "together" as we paint them out to be.

2. I agree...
I do think Mr. DeLay should tour the entire MidEast, then Europe, and he should feel no qualms about how he feels....Right now he is a perfect ambassador for the GOP, IMHO

3. The trip could only be topped...
by stops in Afghanistan and Iraq. Go Bugman...spread your vile...we'll be watching.

7. Ahh, yes, Thursday's...
when I first read about the trip. Should have known someone would be on top of it.

(can't keep anything from you guys, eh?)

It would seem inconceivable that this pantload would go off on such a venture without at least tacit approval from the big guys, but who knows with him. Even if they did advise him not to go, what could they do if he told them to go suck on a rock?

5. I think this is political cover for Bush's Fundie supporters
Delay is over there telling everyone what Bush really means about the "road map". If this was Clinton and someone from his party's House leadership was over there saying something completely the opposite of his stated position he would have grabbed them by the collar and asked them "what in the hell are you doing"?

8. Yeah, I think so too
Sending Delay over to stir up the hardliners makes Bush look like the earnest moderate who's really trying his best. We've just whomped Afghanistan and Iraq, and we're spoiling for a dustup with Iran -- in the midst of that, there's no way the PNAC crowd is just gonna hand the Palestinians the keys to their own country.

6. I agree
Delay, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton should keep their foreign policies to themselves.
