Harlem? Are You kidding me?
Edited on Mon Dec-08-03 07:15 PM by burning bush
Is the Gore endorsement for real?

I mean, Gore plans on endorsing Dean in HARLEM, where Clinton's office is located?

Doesn't this sound like spin, rather than reality?

Would the Gore we've come to know get in Clinton's face like that, or is something else involved in the Harlem choice?

1. When was Clinton last in Harlem?
After his publicity take he appears to never be there. Has he been home with Hillary or on the road?

2. I think it is an Indication that Election Theft 2000 and the
Scrubbing of Black citizens from the Voter rolls in Florida is going to be part of the big picture in Election 2004.

I guess they figured they could make the announcement at the Choicepoint Corporate offices with Zell Miller attending or go to Harlem with Charles Rangel attending. No more Republican Lite.

4. I don't get it?
What is the significance of endorsing a candidate from a specific locale? What makes one place better than the other? Where SHOULD he make the endorsement? How does his current choice affect the legitimacy of the endorsement?

8. Harlem is a Democratic stronghold
Perhaps Gore, who was very popular with African-Americans, wants to endorse Dean in Harlem to give his endorsement a strong effect among African-Americans in a heavily AA and Democratic stronghold? It makes perfect sense.
