If Polls Are So Accurate, Then Why Do They Vary So Dramatically...
depending on who's doing the asking... and HOW it's asked... and who's doing the analysis... and who's doing the reporting?

Why ANYONE would trust them (even the so-called scientific ones) is beyond me.

Call me paranoid and skeptical and suspicious... but I have more confidence in the yuk-yuk polls from the DU Lounge than I do in any of these other "name-brand" polls.

Am I alone on this? I just can't get all worked up into a giddy when a poll appears to favor my viewpoint, nor can I get all frothy when it goes against my opinions either.
