Nixonesque Rush: Rush Limbaugh is not part of a drug ring'
'rush limbaugh was never a target.

"In fact what these records show is that I did suffer pain and had a legitimate reason to be taking them (narcotic painkillers).

It just makes me think of Nixon: (remember, boomers?)
"The American people want to know if their president is a crook. Well, I am not a crook."

1. I always worry about those who refer to themselves in the 3rd person
It seems to signal some kind of wierd personality disconnect.

Use of the royal "we" has always been a tip-off to me that the speaker might not be playing with a full deck of cards anymore also.

Any psychological types out there who can confirm my hunch?

Northernsoul is done talking now.

3. My Favorite Nixon story
Was after he slouched out of the White House in disgrace, they found several bottles of aspirin in the medicine cabinet.
The bottles had "child proof" caps, and had all been severly chewed.

4. Ouch. I remember that. and there's this one..
...
along about the time Kissinger was getting a lot of press for being a 'lady's man' (yuck! what's up with that?!?) Kissinger came into a meeting, i think it was a cabinet meeting, and nixon, in an attempt to be one of the boys, said,:
"Good morning, Henry. Did you do any fornicating this weekend?"
Kissinger was nonplussed, and said; "What did you say?"
to which Nixon replied: "Fornicating! Fornicating! Did you do any fornicating?"

Kissinger begged off with some lame comment and they began their meeting.
