I hope not.

As much as everybody complained about the Kennedys being too political and shady. I really believe the Bush family aspires to the Presidency.

3. Truthfully? Yes.
Before Dubya began running for the presidency, most everyone associated with the Bushes thought Jeb would be the next one to try. Most of the people in the know think Jeb is far smarter and craftier than Dubya. Jeb swears that he's not interested in running in 2008, and that may be true. But, he's younger than Dubya, and 2012 might be a possibility. Of course, he's well on the way to making an utter mess of Florida, and that might eventually hurt him, politically, if the rest of the country takes notice.

But, no one noticed the abject chaos Dubya helped create in Texas, either.

Recall the words of Sharon Bush, Neil Bush's ex-wife: "They're not a family--they're a political organization."

Cheers.

5. Yeah it's a family fetish
I don't know if Jeb buys the "appointed by God" stuff, (I'd bet he does though). As long as anyone in the family is inside that bubble I think they're going full on ahead with all plans and schemes.

God's gonna make it happen and the Bush family will make damn sure he does.
