The turkey in Baghdad was fake....
No, the other turkey. The turkey that looked like it was out of a Norman Rockwell painting. The one on the long tray, surrounded by grapes and looking all bountiful. But the question is, how did that "turkey" get into Baghdad? Did the military already have it there? I doubt it. That means that the turkey was taken over on AF1. No, the other turkey. That means they had planned the photo-op in advance. Will they deny tomorrow that it was a real turkey? Will they say that it was someone else's idea? Obviously a photo-op from the beginning. How can they deny it?

6. You are correct Kentuck
if Bush didn't pick up that Turkey Platter and just put all efforts on shaking hands of GIs' and serving dinner, it would of been more meaningful and we all would feel the sincerity but picking up the platter for the cameras was just what he was there for. So his numbers will go up in the polls and CNN announced his numbers did after that visit to Iraq.

He's shameless...that's for sure..using anything and everything to win in 2004...and making himself the patriot, which he is not.

9. So the soldiers didn't get to eat turkey?
They have a big thanksgiving dinner and Bush can't even bother to provide the soldiers over there with a real turkey??? Was he afraid that the Turkey juice would spill on his flight suit or something?

This is gravy.

11. That is the funniest thing I have heard in a long time
If this was a novel, I would be rolling my eyes and going "yeah right". Only this administration would come up with a fake photo op turkey. So fitting!

12. Now I'm wondering if the grapes were fake also ???
And how did they transport those over there? Are we to believe that they keep fake turkeys and such in the tents over at Baghdad Airport?
