Please answer my questions about Sean Hannity
This man infuriates me more than anybody else on television. He's possibly the world's biggest hypocrite and the world's biggest whiner. He's a distorter, a liar, and a partisan. And no matter what he does, he bashes Democrats for being partisan when he's usually even more partisan. (If you want evidence, just ask.) In short, this man makes me feel bad about being interested in politics. In many ways, he's even more dangerous than Ann Coulter.

Now, I'm hopeful for pragmatic about the chances for the Democrats in 2004. But with Hannity being a major television personality, I have a feeling he's going to taint the level of debate even more.

Should I be worried? Or should I just brush him off and not let my blood pressure rise over his crap?

3. To be fair
I found that, even after I stopped watching Fox News, I kept telling people how bad it was. (Well, O'Reilly can be okay at times, but he's usually poor.) Some people said my comments weren't true. So then I decided to try to watch it more often. It wasn't shocking to find out that my original criticisms held up well. But now, I suppose I can stop watching it, because I'm pretty sure it will never change.

10. O'Reilly
I don't mind O'Reilly as much as some other conservatives (like Hannity). Despite disagreeing with him on a lot of issues, he at least takes the time to become knowledgeable on the issues, and doesn't resort to empty rhetoric.

11. I guess
I guess that's a fair statement. He can, as Eric Alterman says in his great book "What Liberal Media?..." make "baseless assertions," but he does try to be fair and doesn't make me feel like I need to take a bath after watching him.

2. He is dangerous...so is Rush
I don't know what we can do to counter him and Rush. The airwaves have been sold. I guess we just have to fight them here on the web by providing facts when the idiots who listen to them try to get away with putting out the garbage they feed them.

I spend hours refuting lies on right wing boards with information I get here at DU. DU is a powerful tool to counter idiocy.

8. Where? What right wing boards?
I'm curious. Usually right wing boards allow no kind of dissent.

9. Option #3--The "Shootouts"

HannInsanity had Charlie Rangel on his radio
show today.

He will give people who disagree with him plenty
of time and air to take him on.

He irritates me to no end, but I can't help but
listen to him. I end up either talking to or
yelling at the radio, but either way I'm
easily debunking his arguments. Quite an ego
trip, actually.

JMHO.

14. Yes. Seriously. He had Charlie Rangel on there today.

He's had on Arianna Huffington, Robert
Kennedy Jr., Bill Maher, and that's just
off the top of my skull.

Seriously, when he says "Shootout" he's getting
ready to take one of us on. That's when to
listen.

13. He's harmless
When Hillary wins in 2004 or 2008 you can rub his face in it.

Besides, do you really think Hillary can run and win the presidency?
