Attended the Bush Hate meeting at the Beverly Hills Hilton

It was a lot of fun, some wonderful creatives there -- they delineated what they are going to do about fighting Bush's nearly half a billion bucks raked in for the race..

In case you hadn't figured it out, Bush people plan to win the election by June or July and then use all that money left over for Congressional races, etc..

the race will be decided long before the election.. they need money - there is a need to fund both the ACT people and their THE MEDIA fund..

wonderful talk about using Palm Pilots for canvassing and having total up to date info about individual voters, finding out which issues were important to them and send the info back to the main hive and know what to hit Bush and other's etc.. with important issues from THE PEOPLE..

Met Ed Asner, Mike Farrell and his lovely wife, and Robert Greenwald (who has created the UNCOVERED film - go to his site and check it out) -- I told Robert that I could get his films streamed on the web, the complete WHOLE HOUR at 20 cents a viewing..

met a whole lot of stars actually.. Rob Reiner was there, and a nice lady who wrote "Thelma and Louise", and others.. I actually had fans there - one of them was John Bucanan, the guy who is actually RUNNING against BUSH in New Hampshire who went to the National Archives and dug up all the BUSH/NAZI connections and has the documents, said he was inspired by my "Bush is not a Nazi, so stop saying that.." flash film..

Met Bob Fertik of Democrats.com as well - really nice guy, it's so funny to meet people you know from the web in person, I sort of like doing that more than meeting "famous" people..

But like I said, great crowd, very inspired, very serious about getting rid of BUSH..

And I felt NOTHING BUT LOVE in that room, despite whatever RUSH and the rest of those assholes say..

I saw him on Crossfire today. I was really impressed with his debating ability. He was very civil and made some great points. He stayed calm,cool, and collected even when this nut job,Brent from media research,went ballistic on him. I went ballistic on Brent in an e-mail....the guy was even a bigger jerk than most conservatives...e-mail him at [e-mail] if you feel like venting...tell him how great the gathering was!!!

16. nope, not a star

anyone could have gone in there, it was open house at the end - with no name tags -- I almost got thrown out, there were secret service guys there and I was nearly among the last 20 people to get in (standing room only then - we drove from Santa Barbara) and a SS guy plants himself in front of me and says, "You just came in here past the time the doors closed so you have to leave."

I said, "I've been standing here for ten minutes." and the security guy behind me said, "Yeah, that's true..." It wasn't :) but the SS guy just walked away.. good too, cos I was going to make a stink - I know Greenwald and his sec and some of the folks in the room, and I'm pretty sure if I had needed to talk LOUDER someone would have came to my rescue.. (Greenwald had called me and emailed me to try and get us help since Michael Savage has sued us - we could use some donations still for our forgotten legal woes there.)

Funny thing, we came in with our own millionaire who is funding the ARMY OF ONE commercial with some money he came into (mad money I guess) when he sold his big wine collection at Christies in NYC for nearly a half a million bucks.. he's putting around a hundred thousand into it and it will show first in New Hampshire in January and then in Tampa Florida and other places after that..

Everything we'd been discussing was up there on the screen - we are doing the same thing.. but I have one complaint.. they are going to do focus group after focus group until their media ads are some sort of stew that in my opinion lose all power..

but they have the money, we are getting to do our thing a little, maybe they'll enhance each other..

someone here named Julie loves me? :) I'm touched, my wife's name is Julie - she laughed when I showed her - love is where it's at, it's all we have left, so I thank you Julie :)

and as for the Disabled Veterans and others, I AM fighting for you.. as a Veteran I'm PISSED as hell.. I did talk at length with Mike Farrell's sweet wife - I've handed her the commercial and asked for Mike Farrell to do the voice on it - what would be better than the voice of MASH? His wife seems to be into the idea and is very astute - got cool looking punk hair too :)

We'll see what happens, but I do know one thing, there are a LOT of people working to get Chimpy McCokeSpoon the HELL OUT OF OUR WHITE HOUSE..

Come to Take Back the Media and help us out - it's an uphill battle, we aren't the biggest site, but we are having an effect :)
