Tommy Franks made this speech: ...If that happens, Franks said, “... the Western world, the free world, loses what it cherishes most, and that is freedom and liberty we’ve seen for a couple of hundred years in this grand experiment that we call democracy.”
Excuse me folks, but that sounds a lot like me saying "If I lose my job, I'm going to kill myself because nobody else would hire me."
You know, when I felt that way about killing myself, it made sense - to me. But to nobody else. Looking back, it's obvious I was a paranoid schizophrenic who needed mental help.
Can you see the parallel? How about the 50% American people who love Bushatic's* administration? (note: "Bushatic" is a condensed version of "Bush is a paranoid schizophrenic lunatic".)
Bushatic has made comments about ruthless dictators and such, saying they're evil and need to be stopped. He's spot-on about that. Unfortunately, it is clear he wants to be one himself and has actually said it in the past.
George W. Bush has stated he'd prefer to be a dictator at least three times, according to BuzzFlash.com:
"You don't get everything you want. A dictatorship would be a lot easier." Describing what it's like to be governor of Texas.(Governing Magazine 7/98) -- From Paul Begala's "Is Our Children Learning?"
"I told all four that there are going to be some times where we don't agree with each other, but that's OK. If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator," Bush joked. -- CNN.com, December 18, 2000
"A dictatorship would be a heck of a lot easier, there's no question about it, " said. -- Business Week, July 30, 2001
Um, doesn't this make bushatic a hypocrite on top of everything else?
Why haven't the people put 1+1 together to make 2, when they think 1+1=0?!
One final thought, if the US government becomes a military dictatorship, how's the civilized world going to respond? (we sure as hell are teetering on the brink of not being a civilized country and turning it into a military dictatorship will remove that status, permanently.) One country alone can't stop us. But if they all teamed up, we're finished.
If bushatic's folk are reading this, I urge them to remember the following:
* Oil collecting nations might stop selling us their oil. This will cause our economy to collapse and our way of life to end that very moment. (remember, oil cannot be made. Only collected.)
* As much as mere thoughts of terrorism turn Wall Street's inhabitants into cowards, surely the thought of America irrevocably destroying its own documents it's sworn to live by will crash the market for good?
* A President is supposed to uphold the Constitution, not incinerate it. He said so in the Oath of Office. Bush has already broken his statement, several times. There is no excuse, period, for this.
* The other nations of the world might boycott us. They did to a small extent before bushatic stomped his vengeance in rampage in destroying Iraq. This will destroy us, especially since we have gigantic trade deficits.
You see, lurkers and stalkers, this knee-jerk reaction to destroy the US government from within will likely destroy the US utterly. It wouldn't take much for the US to be destroyed and it would be accomplished without a single missile being used. If you truly cared about the US citizens, you wouldn't go through with this madness!!
