Head of MILITARY DRAFT: Drafting computer experts, linguists a PRIORITY!!!
Edited on Sat Nov-22-03 04:05 PM by Dems Will Win
They are going to make new "Special Skills" drafts and draft older computer experts, linguists and engineers--or other jobs they need filled to carry out the PNAC plan. Your ass could be next! Doctors, nurses, men and women,can already be drafted up to the age of 45 upon the "authorized return to conscription". The Special Skills draft would probably be the same age and every job named, every US citizen holding that type of job, will be required to register for the DRAFT at their local post office once Bush signs the order for reinstating the DRAFT.

Anyone who is officially an Arab linguist, or other language they may need, would be the first drafted--if Bush activates the draft on April 1, 2005--which he could easily do cause he's spending 28 million dollars to bring the draft up to a 75-day activation point (March 31st, 2005). That's conveniently AFTER the election and the media is helping him out by NOT reporting this even though the readiness plan is right there on the SSS Web site!

Here is a page that talks about the new Special Skills drafts for whatever job they might decide they need done in Iraq or other countries with oil:

http://www.duckdaotsu.org/resist.html

<snip>

The Pentagon is considering other "special skills" drafts, to include military linguists, computer experts, or engineers, which could arise from other immediate needs. "We're going to elevate that kind of draft to be a priority," said Lewis Brodsky, acting director of the Selective Service System.

<snip>

Any computer experts, linguists or engineers out there under the age of 45???? I have one word for you, which you might receive in the mail during 2005:

GREETINGS!

1. Glad this is getting out
Edited on Sat Nov-22-03 04:00 PM by Tinoire
They've already been calling back retired linguists. They've always had the power to do this though and I watched Warrant Officers get called back when their skill was short. It is a price the beast reserves when it pays for your soul.

Note to DOD- don't bother sending me a letter. It will come back "address unknown".

4. Sorry, if you are already registered for the draft, Canada might return
you. They signed a new agreement to return whoever we ask for. Here's a better plan:

Engineer a Democratic victory by working all of 2004 for the Democratic nominee, wear out at least a pair of shoes canvassing and defeat Bush!

That is a more realistic plan, I believe to avoid the DRAFT.

3. Yep, I feel a draft...
... and I see another one-term Bush Family Failure. Can't wait to be in DC on Election Night outside of what should be Al Gore's house celebrating the eviction of Chimpy McSquatter.

11. I don't see why
this issue isn't being talked up more. It is painfully obvious that within a couple of years, the armed services, especially Army, Marines, National Guard, Reserves, are going to be so far under their enlistment quotas, they will have no choice other than to start a draft. Can you imagine all these panty-waiste chicken-hawks who managed to dodge Viet Nam calling on young Americans to do their "duty." Ha ha ha.

Yes, when that happens, the College Republicans will be on the march. They'll be marching down to the induction center in panty hose.

Unfortunately, this won't happen until after the election. I'm pretty pesimistic that any of the current D field will be able to beat Douche.

5. How do they know?

I registered for the draft quite a long time ago, long before I was an expert in anything (other than drinking).

Since then Ive been become a communications expert, but I certainly have not kept in touch with the SS on my status (im 36 now)

Im now doubting what you said, nor do I desire to be drafted, just kinda wondering how they will know.

Skills must register for the draft at their local post office where Selective Service forms will be available. It will be just like the HCPDS draft in which ALL 3.4 million doctors and nurses in 60 fields of medicine MUST register. That only occurs if the draft is actually activated.

To remove all doubt here is the official SSS page on how they will draft docs and nurses. By the way, women would be included in the Health Care and the Special Skills DRAFTS.

<snip>

MEDICAL DRAFT IN STANDBY MODE

The Health Care Personnel Delivery System (HCPDS) is a standby plan developed for the Selective Service System at the request of Congress. If needed it would be used to draft health care personnel in a crisis. It is designed to be implemented in connection with a national mobilization in an emergency, and then only if Congress and the President approve the plan and pass and sign legislation to enact it. No portion of the plan is designed for implementation in peacetime. If implemented, HCPDS would:

Provide a fair and equitable draft of doctors, nurses, medical technicians and those with certain other health care skills if, in some future emergency, the military’s existing medical capability proved insufficient and there is a shortage of volunteers.

Include women, unless directed otherwise by Congress and the President.

Draft a very small percentage of America’s health care providers into military service. Impact on the availability of civilian health care would be minimal. Those health-care workers whose absence would seriously hurt their communities would be deferred on the basis of community essentiality.

Begin a mass registration of male and female health care workers between the ages of 20 and 45. They would register at local post offices.
HCPDS would provide medical personnel from a pool of 3.4 million doctors, nurses, specialists and allied health professionals in more than 60 fields of medicine.

Require minimal training for HCPDS draftees, because they are already skilled personnel.

<snip>

http://www.sss.gov/FSmedical.htm

Just switch Special Skills Personnel Delivery System for Health Care Personnel Delivery System and you'll see what they will do!

and, serendipitously(sp?), clicked on your post..............it made me wonder...is this draft provision how Hawkeye, Trapper, BJ et al were conscripted? (and I mean, of course, their real counterparts in the Korean War.)

There is a space for "Occupation" on the bottom of the form, next to your signature. Hmmm, I wonder how many will be filled out correctly this year?

like a draft is imminent. The Democrats better oppose this, support will relegate those who do to political oblivion.

How much you want to bet they expand the hell out of that "Special skills division"...they need an army of slaves to implement their plans,they won't rest until every male and female between the ages of 18-50 is forced to serve , you know ...digging ditches, emptying trashcans, fetching coffee and donuts for that new form of government Mr Franks is refering too.

20-45 ids only the register Age, service age limit is a different story
