Protesting against terrorists/insurgents...?

On another website...there's a discussion about protesting BushCo in England and here's what one freeper had to say...

It's not even in contention. Also, that's a pretty bold claim against Arafat. He's no saint but who exactly has he "directly" killed? Any more than Sharon or Netanyahu "directly" killed?

2. My responsibilty is for MY government.

The same with the British people. As citizens in a democracy, WE have the responsibility for the actions of our government and the responsibility to hold them accountable for their actions on our behalf.

I have no responsibility for the actions of Islamic Jihad, the PLO, or Hammas, which in fact, aren't governments. If these people think that they have a responsibility for their conduct, then they should move over there, join their organizations, and work for change.

Since terrorists don't even pretend that people's opinions matter, what's the good of protesting them, especially in the countries where they aren't even based?

they only see one thing...Our Hatred for Bush and his Bad foriegn policy...these people on this site do nothing but flame us for speaking out against their hero...they never use facts or anything...they just call us names and insult us because we choose to side with the protestors here and in England...

Becuase we were giving praises to the protestors in England, they were calling us terrorists sympathizers and such...it's really absurd if you ask me...

It's truly pathetic to say the least...I can't wait till their hero is voted out of office...then we can start insulting and belittling them when they bash "our President"...man it's going to be good to say that again..."our President"...has a nice ring to it doesn't it...
