I would think that Begala would take that as a compliment from the "Prince of Darkness" aka "No Facts" of Evans and No Facts fame.
How is this like McCarthy anyway? McCarthy quoted from non-existent reports and lists. We know this report exists. We just don't know everything that it says. I suppose Republican Sen. Shelby is a McCarthyite also since he said too much of the report was withheld and he suggested that some portions were held back to avoid embarrassment, not for security reasons. Have no fear, Truth will out itself eventually. Just more drip,drip, drip rather than yanking the bandage off all at once and getting it over with. More damaging in the long run.
