2. whorefest
You are ranting and it is a darn good rant. I am afraid the answer to each of your questions is no. We have gone beyond the point of no return.

4. that's all folks
inevitable that democracy would evolve into this. this is the last outpost for the morally bankrupt conservatives. they will put up their last stand and go down kicking and screaming. "let them eat cake huh"? eat this fascist!

3. It may very well be Fork Time
1. No, because they want unadulterated shit 24/7.
2. Possible, but highly doubtful because they lack the will.
3. What integrity? What freedom?
4. Yes, but they're never heard because we're inundated with unadulterated shit 24/7.
5. Yes, but it's cool because that's what we're here for.

5. Pete you're right on
We can only hope that the grassroots will turn our collective
rage on the Media. Gawd am I pissed. I actually have Post Traumatic
stress disorder, and I've started to relapse with all the fear mongering and warmongering. Pete, you always call it right.

I'm trying to be on a media diet as last week I had 4 panic attacks
in one wk.

6. We are done. We are bordering
on being overcooked. Stupidity and complacency is a deadly mix, at thats us.

8. right on all points, unfortunately
you only hear sensible points of view by accident, as I just did, on a local PBS show, in which the host asked a touring Eric Idle what he thought about the MJ fiasco.

his answer: it's OBvious that the arrest was timed to take the spotlight off the Bush protests in Europe.

to which the halfwit host immediately responded that Idle must be one of those conspiracists.

buying tickets to his show on Saturday night.

they have a new CD out, apparently, as well. might be a version of just "Meaning of Life" (tuned in right while they were talking about that), but it will be worth buying. lots of extras, apparently.

he also has a daily online diary of the coast-to-coast bus tour

9. Well...
1. Noooooooooooo

2. Nooooooo

3. Nooooo for the multitude, it's yum-yums for dum-dumbs

4. Not yet

5. No

These questions are why I can't bear to watch CNN, MSNBC etc (Fox goes without saying). I will occasionally watch my local news, for a small city our news is fairly balanced and leans left.
