Why do we need to see dead Hussein's, but not Americans?

Why do we need to see dead Hussein's, but not Americans?
I think it is extremely manipulative of all of the media to show graphic photographs of Saddam's sons yet never show a flag-draped coffin of a returning American soldier.

Why does the public tolerate this?

If you seriously don't believe our media is totally compromised and is simply a propoganda tool for the Bush administration...answer my original question. Could it be that if the public saw a graphic picture of the body count in America (coffins and bereaved family, not a photo of a dead soldier) they would drastically change their tune and become anti-war?
