Did Rush Limbaugh really have cosmetic surgery done?

A local radio show this morning was discussing Michael Savage & his termination from MSNBC & the host got off the subject about Rush Limbaugh.I had never heard any of his claims & wondered if anyone here had. Now, this guy is a BIG TIME loud mouth who leans to the right,but he's not to bad(he tries to be fair but I still get pissed at times w/him.As long as stays clear from politics, I think he's very entertaining)He says he loves daytime talk radio more than anything,but says Limabugh is a BIG PHONEY!! He claims, Rush made up the story about him going deaf to boost ratings & gain sympathy.When reporters began digging in to see if his claims were tue,Rush got very defensive over simple innocent questions like"Who's your Doctor","How long have you expierenced this?", "What other sypmtoms do you have?" Reporters began to suspect something over his snappy & bitchy attitudes.When digging into his claims, the only thing they discovered was Limabugh had some considerable cosmetic surgery done, but they could not find ANYTHING re:his hearing problems(No records of hearing tests,Doctor Appointments,RX's, etc.)

Is there any truth to these claims?Anyone know?

6. My instincts say it's true- let's look at the facts:

Fact: Rush is a LIAR. Do I even need to prove this?

Fact: Rush is a veteran radio personality- he is a master of "hype" and of P.T. Barnum style entertanment- a charlatan if you will. Could his loss of hearing be a hoax to gain more curious listeners???

Fact: He did indeed spend much time under the knife- he admits it. Funny how the ear thing and his drastic weight loss occurred roughly at the same time, no?

Fact: getting a tummy tuck is considered "feminine" by many- as is a man whose weight fluctuates like Luthor Vandross, or a hollywood starlet-it's not a stretch to consider that he made up the ear thing to: A.) Hype up his show, P.T. Barnum style (THE Amazing Deaf Right Wing Radio Host!), and B.) to sevrve as a cover for his "feminine" & embarassing tummy tuck.

Fact: Rush has always had weight problems- but now they have suddenly vanished- just Like Al Rokker or Carnie Wilson (tummy staples)-how bout that!

Fact: Rush's hearing appears to be suddenly fine- as if there never was anything wrong. Remember- he NEVER gave up speaking on the radio- he spoke with that fake "going deaf" voice- and he only had show replacments during the "operation."

Assessment: Rush is a smart guy, so he made his plastic surgery work for him in 2 ways- he faked the "going deaf" bit- which helped to hype his show, while giving him an excuse to frequent plastic surgeons and get his stomache stapled, or whatever.

Everything is EXACTLY as it appears to be with this guy.

Call him & ask him on the air? Hell, play it off as being a defender of his & would like to know how Rush would advise these liberal lies about him? Could be mildly entertaining!

...as we know,Rush is TERRIFIED, like a little girl, of non-staged confrontation.

Why do you think he avoids talking head shouting matches? At least O'Reily CONFRONTS his guests- even if it is on his own terms.

SO_ it's hard to engage Rush in anything that is not staged- you have to get through his screeners.

but I am betting liposuction was part of the operation also. His weight loss was quite dramatic.

9. His weight actually fluctuated- UNTIL the "operation"

...Note that his weight fluctuated like a teenaged prom-queen BEFORE the "ear" operation. Ever since then his weight has appeared to stabilize- suggesting that Rush finially found the weight loss "method" (surgery) that worked.
