Reading from the right
http://www.usatoday.com/life/books/news/2003-07-22-right_x.htm

When Judith Regan was an editor at Pocket Books in 1991, she says she "mortified" her colleagues by acquiring a book by a new star of conservative talk radio, Rush Limbaugh.

Ann Coulter has had three best sellers in two years.

"They either didn't know who he was," she says, or dismissed him as "a right-wing nut case." (Related item: Read an excerpt from Ann Coulter's Treason.)

That book, The Way Things Ought to Be, turned out to be the best-selling non-fiction book of 1992. A year later, Limbaugh's sequel, See, I Told You So, claimed the same spot.
