Now do you see how Rove used Nigergate?
he picked the littlest lie to focus on then told enough surrounding lies and blames to confuse the entire story. Meanwhile he is buying time to find more PR stunts to fight back at the critics of war. I would think they would have resigned by now, but they know that no one has the power to force them from office.

2. Karl is using every dirty
trick he learned during the original production.

Now he is quickly running out of room in this
summer repeat of Watergate... this is not over by
any stretch.

Boy they are going to wish it was a tryst with monica.

3. Rove was able to frame the debate early on
And it worked. Here's how.

He was able to insert the phrase "sixteen words" into every discussion. The effects of that are many. People who are barely paying attention think it's trivial. Political news junkies and media were thrown off the larger hunt -- Rove focused queries on that phrase.

When the story got legs and got out of control of the WH, he threw up all kinds of roadblocks and diversions to grab news.

And yes, telling a little truth surrounded by lies is one of the tricks.

5. 16 words
Sixteen words might be all that we're able to find if we look for stuff that he's said which was not false (or at least highly misleading) in his build-up to the war.

4. well, it's up to us to not let him get away with it.
stay on message. why aren't the senators talking about NO WMDs? No al Queda link to Saddam? A BIG SAUDI LINK to 9-11? Lies about the budget deficits? there are just so many lies to go after.

Then we have people hiding behind one another to deflect blame from the cabinet members and president himself--even trashing former diplomats and outing CIA agents.

Karl Rove is a pimple on the buttocks of the world. We get rid of him when we keep exposing him and his lies that he feeds through the teleprompter to Howdy Doody.

DEMS gotta take a lesson from the Gray Davis's, Dan Rostentowski's, and Lyndon Johnson's of the world. YOU HIT THEM HARD AND NEVER RELENT BECAUSE THIS IS A FUCKING POWER PLAY.

You want the power? You think they're screwing it up? Then you gotta have the gall to go after them with no apologies.

Somebody outta be diggin' in the dirt and garbage about Rove himself. Just to show we can do it. I'm serious.

Time for a gut check in the entire Democratic party. If no serious and unrelenting action on part of leadership, operatives, and base....then kiss goodbye to viable second party. The other party has figured out their strategy of chipping away at the angles over the long term. THey really see decimation of second party as their chief goal leading to their later goals of unimpeded leadership of this country as a country you do not want to witness, my friends.

6. It's called "framing the debate"....no focus on ALL the other lies
Just focus on what we say....let "us" admit to 16 words....and don't question us on the other lies. Clearly, the 45 minute line is just as damaging...what happened to that?

The WH controlled the debate.

7. Yar but when the Dem get all they can from this they......
Will pull in the next lie. So the subject of the first lie never really goes away. It is the same thing the GOP did to Gore. You do not think the DEm do not know how the game is played? They held power in congress for 40 year I think. The landing on the ship has already been killed by this new madness of Bush and Co. Once you start being a joke things look bad. Bush does not have a thick skin I understand.
