CBS considers cancelling the Reagan miniseries
It seems as if the Eyeball Network (CBS) is considering pulling the long-awaited miniseries "The Reagans" due to pressure from Republican groups. Read on....

I wonder if William Paley were still alive, would he allow the miniseries to aired?

You know there was a time when CBS's news department was the most informative and objectionable anywhere. Who can remember when Walter Cronkite went on the air during his news in the 60's and declared the Vietnam War "unwinnable"? I will bet if Dan Rather or any of those CBS News people ever said the same thing about Iraq, they would lose their jobs and never work in the mainstream media again. Somewhere, Edward R. Murrow is spinning in his grave.

1. This sucks. The right-wingers can re-write history as will.
Clinton is damned near lynched for a blow-job, and yet Reagan can do Iran-Contra, and Bush can do Enron, Iraq, and on, and on, and get away with literal murder, but let anyone tell the truth, adnthey come down with their legions of wing-nuts, and stop the truth from being told.

No doubt about it, we are living in a fascist dictatorship. Democracy and truth are history.

2. Wimps ...
... It's only a movie!

If people want all the facts, perhaps Bush* should release all the Reagan/Bush presidential papers he's hiding. That should be the most accurate portrayal of history! (Unless they've been scrubbed or shredded, of course.)

Bring 'em on out!

3. Proves that Republicans whine too much!
Bunch of cry babies. They cannot accept that one of their "glorious" leaders was flawed.
