Mutual Fund Scandals - Democratic Issue?
I think more average Americans are affected and disturbed by the growing mutual fund scandal than by the accounting/CEO scandals of a year ago. Now Spitzer is condeming the SEC for being asleep at the switch. Again, this is Bush's SEC; first he nominated Harvey Pitt and had to dump him. But the SEC incompetence goes on, and I think the Dems can get some mileage out of this?
