Is Arnold an advance neocon operative?
Ok. What about this idea?

Arnold is the first wave of a content free, celebrity-driven single party system for the new and improved U.S. of Amerikaland. Due out in theaters near you by 2008.

I used to joke about how fascistic in ideology the new Rupublicans are becoming. But sometime in the last year a part of me has become increasingly alarmed -- that may very well be what is happening to this country.

It's not just neocon millionaires and billionaires. Ahnold knows we have to unite "all dah peepul" in a nice red white and blue box that will ultimately make the Dem/Repub dichotomy irrelevent.

Karl Rove must know that Bush's plan to turn Amerikaland into Texas isn't going to work. States have their own cultures to consider. California will never be Texas, but we do have a weakness for celebrity here and a taste for theater. Is Arnold the California trojan horse the neocons have been searching for?

Somebody tell me why this can't be true and I'll shut up!

1. There is no argument from me.
Why else would they be pushing him for President?

6. Say it aint so!
Dennis Miller is scary looking and not funny one bit. God forbid we let Arnie be president too. I'm sick.

3. Ah-nuld has been groomed for a long time
He's their kind of people. His Dad was a Nazi, just like George Sr's Dad Prescott sympathized with them and did business with them.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that "human growth hormone" was first discovered and extracted in Nazi Germany during human experimentation by Nazi doctors on "undesirables"...

Ya gotta have connections.

4. You might be right
At least in California, Democrats are running scared. Too scared to be healthy. Celebrity counts.

5. Naaahhh, I don't think it's that complex.....
I think the repubs saw an unpopular dem governer, figured they could fund a recall & take it with name recognition. Arnold wants to be in politics & the main reason the party powers backed him is plain & simple name recognition. They figure it'll help in the Nov '04 election. I don't think they've devoted any thought to matters of actually running the state. IMHO Arnold is nothing more than a name.
