Reading such posts as the "republican for Dean" is something to me that is very relevant. As a matter of fact, I wanted to post something like "we're getting the independents and undecideds."

I have been very pessimistic in the past for the simple fact that I live in one of the most conservative areas in the country. But now, I'm hearing whispers among large groups, and displays of outrage when talking privately with me, that there are those "independents" who voted for Bush in 2000 who will not vote for him again. Now remember, I'm in the north Texas area, and you don't hear folks screaming "Bush sucks." You would definitely be flogged (okay, an exaggeration), but I'm starting to think the tide is turning.

87 billion dollars to Iraq. No end in sight to the carnage. Still an economy that is stagnent (I know the market has been going up, but where the hell are the jobs). It's finally sinking in with some. Even in the DFW metroplex, and it's about damn time.

1. It'll be interesting to see
how much of a boost Bush gets from the third-quarter GDP number.

2. GDP
If most people feel that Saddam Hussein was involved in 9-11 ,how will they know what GDP means ???

4. A Republican friend of mine
(Yes, I do have Republican friends...sorry)

But, he sent me an angry email this morning complaining about Haliburton profiteering from the war and how they are charging twice as much for oil as an Iraqi company, and they are also charging the US taxpayers money for security when the US military is providing it for free...
